The Filmed in Nevada County Grant
The Filmed in Nevada County Grant builds on the Nevada City Film Festival’s 25-year legacy of connecting filmmakers, production companies, local businesses, and audiences. More than just funding, this program champions independent filmmakers and crews while promoting local vendors, services, and locations that make exceptional storytelling possible.
Grant Amounts
Award amounts are a minimum of $1,000 and a maximum of $20,000 per project.
To encourage less experienced or first-time filmmakers to apply, 1-2 award grantees will be selected to receive mentorship (if requested) and support from experienced local filmmakers and producers to assist them through the development, planning, production and distribution of their project depending on need and merit.
